This is my first blog. I'm slightly ashamed. I work in the Web industry. I work for a Fortune 100 IT firm and I'm - what? - two years behind the curve on blogging.
I've been reading about the revolution that blogs are bringing to our society. Some countries have even outlawed them but I can't shake the notion that this is just another, more point-and-click version of a dairy. Or worse, are these not adult versions of our adolescent slambooks?
Two of my friends at work have blogs. One if them is this terminally hip chick who's into all the right things . The other just started one as part of some sort of cathartic experience brought on by a cancer diagnosis. So, here's to you B.W. You've got my creative juices flowing once more. They had gone glacial after years of cubicle inertia.
My big fear is that I will not have anything to write about. My husband and I are simple people. We eat, go to the mall on the weekends, and see movies. He plays hockey and I practice yoga. Practice being the operative word.
Okay... I'm on a roll. This blogging thing is easy. I feel like Carrie Bradshaw during the first five minutes of Sex and the City. Speaking of which, Sex and the City is about to start (on TBS).
Bye...
