Is Frisco Super Target the Next Sam's Club?

Bill and I enjoy at little Sam's Club shopping every now and then. We rarely go because we don't need to buy stuff in bulk but we'll slip in occasionally to see if we "need" anything. What we're really doing is scoping out the bountiful free samples on every aisle. The Arkansas-based wholesale club is so famous for their free samples that many people I know have taken to avoiding the place during lunch hour and right after work due to the shopping cart traffic jams the sample stations cause.

I think Super Target has taken notice. Bill and I shop at Super Target every Saturday - we are fixtures there. The asiles are wide, we know where everything is, we can occasionally slip into the housewares department and... well... there are the free samples. We're so bad about eating anything presented at the endcaps that the hired samplers know us by sight. And we know them. Craig is usually at a station directly across form the cheese case and there is a young kid parked in front of the cottage cheese case. The kid needs to figure out basic food safety but I digress...

We'll eat anything but the free Archer Farms Peach Yogurt - which Super Target always seems to be pushing these days. Saturdays at the Super Target is practically a cocktail hour for us, without the cocktails. True consumers that we are, we often buy whatever is being sampled because the stations have deep discounts on the spotlighted products.

I hope the Sam's Club sample crowd doesn't catch on to the goodies across Highway 121 at the Super Target. I really don't want the traffic jams in the aisles at MY Super Target. After all, I'm there every Saturday.
