'Neath the Wreath

I've been up since 4:21am. B.'s birthday party had great food but that second sausage dog probably wasn't a good idea. It is nice to see old friends and that web of people that weaves in and out of my life for years on end. Many of them probably do not know me from a whole in the wall - they're all W.'s friends - but I love them more than anything.

Today Bill and I will go to Neath the Wreath, a holiday bazaar hosted by Plano Junior League. I look forward to this all year. There is something homey and snuggly about the wares. Each booth reminds me of all the gorgeous and audacious Dallas soccer moms I grew up around. I feel more connected to where I am from when I go to these events. How "Dallas" is it that a trip to my roots involves shopping with the Junior League. I really need to get off my duff and join!!

But first, Bill and I are going to Einstein's.
