Forget Waterboarding, They Should Have Biore Cleansing Strips at Gitmo

I tried Biore deep skin cleansing strips last Sunday. Those are the ones you see at the drug store that are suppose to take out blackheads and clogged pores (which is a problem on the bridge of my nose). Anyway, you wet your nose, apply the strip and wait for it to dry to this papier mache consistency. This sounds really cool in theory and the product has been out for years. The back of the package even says "papier mache" which I find odd since our NASCAR loving nation probably wouldn't recognise that word.

Yes, sounds cool in theory.

When I tried to take the stupid strip off I found it excruciatingly painful. Worse than a band-aid. Worse than waxing. And since it was on my nose, the pain made me sneeze. Sneezing, ripping skin, tearing up, and wimpering on the couch last Sunday afternoon was not a pleasant experience.

On the bright side, the strip ripped up a ton of nastiness deep within the subcutaneous recesses of my nose. The back side of the strip looked positively fuzzy. So that was kind of cool.

But was the pain really worth it?

Can't we find better uses for these Biore strips? Wouldn't some terrorists "need their pores cleaned?"
